Well it’s time… The upgrade to WordPress has finally happened and we are pleased to announce it. With this new opportunity we will have the ability to control this blog with a powerful and easy-to-use utility. No more manual typing code the hard way and having to manually transfer updates to the site. Now it’s all controlled through WordPress’s on-line dashboard.
Introduction:
As we explore this wonderful utility with you, you will have a chance to see some of our favorite tools. Where better to start than the text editor for creating new posts.
We’ll start with top row named Upload/Insert. Each button is listed from left to right starting with the upload image. Second is the Upload Video. Third is the Upload Audio. Forth is the Upload Media. Fifth is add Pole.
You may notice the Visual/HTML tabs. You can select the HTML tab to bring up the HTML tag editor.
Each of these have the same sub-menu where you can decide the source of your upload. Such as from your computer or a URL. After uploading your media another menu becomes available to insert Titles, Caption, Descriptions, Link URLs, Alignment and Size.
After uploading an image it is saved in the WordPress Media Library. You can edit or delete an uploaded image under the Media Library tab.
